Originally from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Matt attended Penn State University,
captained the Rifle Team and graduated with a degree on Business Logistics. Serving
in the U.S. Army in a variety of assignments including Chief of the World Wide Military
Command and Control System Europe, and Deputy Director Artificial Intelligence Center
Matt retired in 1992. After ten years in the corporate world developing computer
technology where he invented and developed the ADAM notification system used by the
National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, he took time off to publish his first
Novel; a work military historical fiction entitled Tenth Man. Matt and his wife Rebecca
are full-time residents of Highlands.

Vicki is an Emmy award winning TV News Executive who has
found a home in the Highlands-Cashiers area. Born and
raised in Atlanta, Georgia, she is a graduate of The Lovett
School, and has been coming to this area all her life.
Her TV career has allowed her to experience many parts of
the country including Colorado, Washington DC,
Tennessee, Florida, and of course Atlanta!
But, since the late 90s, she has come to call Cashiers
home. She is passionate and knowledgeable about the
wonderful people and scenic surroundings that make this
such a unique place to visit and live.
