Originally from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Matt attended Penn State University, captained the Rifle Team
and graduated with a degree on Business Logistics. Serving in the U.S. Army in a variety of assignments
including Chief of the World Wide Military Command and Control System Europe, and Deputy Director
Artificial Intelligence Center Matt retired in 1992. After ten years in the corporate world developing
computer technology where he invented and developed the ADAM notification system used by the National
Center for Missing and Exploited Children, he took time off to publish his first Novel; a work military
historical fiction entitled Tenth Man. Matt and his wife Rebecca are full-time residents of Highlands.

I have always been committed to the community and especially the Wellbeing of children. Throughout my career in the military and in
the corporate world, I have supported charity organizations not only through the giving of my personal time but through the use of my
technical skills in developing systems to support children, and there is nothing more important in this world than children.
