•  Bridal Veil Falls : These picturesque fall cascades next to US Hwy.64 west just
about 3 miles from Highlands.  The falls are just twenty yards off of the highways
and you can even stand under the falls without getting wet.

Dry Falls: On US Hwy.64 west, about 4 miles from Highlands. Parking is
provided by the Forestry Service where a path is taken to the falls. Despite ythe
name, the falls are not dry.

Glen Falls:  Located off a dirt road 3 miles south of Highlands on Hwy.106. The
turn-off is marked by a USFS sign. Glen Falls is composed of a series of 3 large
falls dropping approximately 60 ft. each on the east fork of Overflow Creek in the
Blue Valley area. The one mile foot trail down to the falls is fairly steep.

Kalakaleskies: Located off of Hwy.64 west about 2 1/2 miles from Highlands on
the Cullasaja River. The Sequoya Dam is at the head of these falls. There are 18
small falls within a quarter mile.

Lower Cullasaja Falls: Located off Hwy.64west about seven miles from
Highlands, it is one of the most beautiful falls in N.C.

Lower Satulah / Hidden Falls : A high, narrow waterfall visible from the
overlook approximately 2 1/2 miles from Main Street of Highlands.

Whitewater Falls:  Located about 20 miles from Highlands, and at 411 feet
these falls are the highest in the eastern United States. A pleasant 45 minute
drive, many visitors enjoy driving through Horse Cove and crossing over the
Chattooga River on their way to Whitewater.
